This is the first time I've tried to put a video on the blog- I hope it works! On Saturday, Checo decided to take Sammy's training wheels off his bike. It only took a few tries and Sammy was cruising down the street!
I know, it's not very safe for Sammy to be riding down the street without a helmet on, as he's learning to ride a bike without training wheels. He grew out of his old helmet and we are going today to get him a new one. Don't worry!
Just to let everyone know....we bought a helmet this morning. So Sammy is safely riding his bike now!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the good old days when kids could ride their bikes in the streets! You have a nice quiet block. I can't believe hes riding a bike at 4...just like you!

ReplyDeleteYeah, the good thing about our block is that is the street doesn't go through, so the only cars that drive down the street are the people that live on our block.
ReplyDeleteEmery is right- Emma was a little mad that she couldn't ride without training wheels too. She was crying for Checo to take them off, so he did, and she couldn't ride it. She said that her bike didn't work. I told her that maybe when she's four like Sammy she'll be able to do it. So that calmed her down and she wanted Checo to put her training wheels back on. This video was right after her wheels were put back on...that's why she doesn't look very happy!
